installation stages
Simple and fast to install
The Radicsol system is designed to make installation straightforward, orderly, and repeatable, reducing the margin of error typically associated with traditional solutions. The process is organised into clear, practical stages:
01
Preparation and formwork installation
Cut the required bars at 45° to create the corner pieces, then start from the building corners and align the formwork with the layout previously marked on the slab. Check alignment carefully and join the formwork sections using timber screws inserted into the dedicated holes in the longitudinal bracket strips.
02
Adjustment and fixing
Begin adjustment using the dedicated set screws located at the base of the longitudinal brackets, with the aid of a laser level and spirit level. Once the correct level has been reached, fix the longitudinal bracket to the slab using a self-tapping concrete screw, then continue adjusting the next brackets. Once the longitudinal brackets have been levelled, raise the corner pieces to the correct height and secure them using the dedicated corner brackets, fixing them both to the timber and to the slab with suitable screws.
03
Installation of structural brackets
Once the base beam has been levelled, apply spot foam beneath the formwork and proceed with the installation of the structural brackets SLP20 and HD50 or HD80, together with their reinforcement using standard starter bars bent as required. Install the remaining reinforcement using the appropriate resin. Cut the openings for threshold spaces and apply foam along the full perimeter to prevent concrete leakage during the pour.
04
Concrete pouring
Pour suitably fluid concrete without vibration, screeding it flush with the top of the formwork during curing until a perfectly level surface is achieved. It is advisable to clean the EPS edges with a sponge to allow effective installation of the membranes and sealing tapes applied later. After a few days, the timber walls can be placed on the base beam with a suitable damp-proof membrane laid in between.

Integration of building services
01
The Radicsol system simplifies services coordination on site by avoiding demolition work and interference between structural and installation activities. It allows horizontal service runs every 40 cm and vertical runs without demolition, making coordination easier, reducing floor build-up thicknesses, and ensuring a clean, well-organised installation.
Reliable levels and reference points
02
Radicsol ensures accurate levels and alignment throughout the completion stages of the build because it defines the finished floor level and, consequently, the thickness of the floor build-up, the support level for lining walls and window frames, and the level for the external insulation system. This makes coordination between the different trades much simpler.
Coordination and logistics
03
Radicsol makes the various on-site activities more independent, reducing the need for coordination between phases. Installation is carried out accurately by the assigned team, without requiring millimetric tolerances in the foundations or detailed checks of traditional base beams. This helps avoid work stoppages caused by communication issues or overlapping responsibilities, improving coordination, reducing errors and incidents, and raising the overall quality of the work.
